The story behind the dedications“For Wendy (writer, mother, Peruvian explorer)” Wendy’s a v. good friend from Scotland, who is a journalist, mum to the lovely Tasmin (see the dedication for Indie Kidd 3), and also once stomped up mountains in Peru to raise money for charity (NOT wearing her ever-present high heels).
