OH MY GOSH! I LOVE THIS BOOK!!

'Daisy, Dad and the Huge, Small Surprise': the twist was AMAZING and it was so good I insisted that my friends should read it! They did and they loved it too! When the twist was revealed (I won't say what it is!) I nearly wet myself... I couldn't believe it!! I'm sure I am not the only one that has read this and loved it, but if there is anyone who is reading this review now then GO AND FIND THE BOOK AND READ IT!!!

V. Groovy Journal/Nails

My mum just bought me The V. Groovy Ally's World Journal as a present (alongside a Latin Dictionary I needed for school :-S ). I think it is excellent and I've just started filling it in. On one page it said "I'm sure your writing would be much better if you went and painted your nails a pretty colour". It works! Thanks,
Claudia :-)

You rock, Karen =)

I am addicted to all your books, especially 'Ally's World', and i found the tenth book really good because i wasn't in a million, trillion years ever going to think of the amazing twist =D I better not say anymore about it because someone visiting this website might not have read it yet =P I admire you above all other writers because unlike jacqueline wilson (my other fave writer) u don't write about really depressing stuff. Well. you do, but in a different way. You write about everyday problems. not just huge big dilemmas. Like you write about how Ally's family race to the shower every morning =] and i find that very easy to compare to my life! Soi better shut up. i can't though because i have so, so much to say but basically you are unique, Karen McCombie, and i want to be a writer just like you when i'm older! Look out for my books on the shelves on your local bookshop! haha =] x

Like I'll stop reading Stella Etc!!

I LOVE the 'Stella Etc' books. I frequently read them, even if I've already demolished them. I'm always seen with my nose buried in a Karen McCombie book. At my school, my teacher says they're 'not very challenging' (mad old bat :S) and i was forbidden to read them (boo). Like THAT stopped me!!
Call me determind, but I'm always reading one of your books under my desk...

ALLY'S (FAB, FANTASTIC, WONDERFUL AND MANY OTHER AMAZING WORDS) WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely adore Ally's World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once I had picked up the first book in the series I couldn't put it down!!!!! I would spend most of the time staring wistfully through Waterstones front window wishing I hadn't lent Mum my pocket money 4 her bus ticket that morning. And the rest of the time secretly reading under my duvet cover (with the old torch which has almost run out of battery and was used @ my lil sister's "spooky birthday party" 2 years ago!) WAY past lights out @ about 1:00am!!! I would like 2 say that I totally admire u (Karen) and any other person who can cram so many words into 1 book in such a creative a witty way 2 make a story!!! Someday I hope 2 b an author but the way I'm going it is very un likely!!! . . n (BOO HOO!!)
