I just noticed that you use quite a lot of exclamation marks in your blogs. Are you addicted to them? Maybe you should seek help... Matilda x PS Your 'Stella Etc' series is brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, so there might be a three-legged ginger cat called Colin in your 'Ally's World' books, but I have a three-legged guinea-pig called Eric! He is named after my grandad (though my grandad didn't have three legs, as far as I can remember). You can use him in one of your stories, if you like! Matilda T. PS I wish Colin was real – then he could come and meet Eric!

Hey Karen, I had never read any your books before, but my auntie bought me ('Seventeen Secrets Of The Karma Club') for Christmas and I absolutely, totally hate it! Only joking!! (Hope I didn't give you a heart attack.) It's so, so, SO good, and I couldn't believe the twist in it, when– ah, I guess I can't say, can I, without giving it away? Looking forward to reading lots, lots, LOTS more of your books (it's my New Year Resolution). Megan-May (13)

I was bored and whinging to my big sister about having nothing to do last weekend. She disappeared for a bit then came back and chucked a book at me. "Read this! Get happy!" she said. So I read it, and I was! It was her old copy of 'Angels, Arguments & a Furry, Merry Christmas' from the 'Ally's World' series, which I haven't read yet. But I will now! Well, I will if my sister lets me borrow her collection. Think I'll have to bribe her with all my Christmas chocolate! Freya, Battersea

The 'Ally's World' series of books are the best books I have ever read :) You are an amazing author (way better than Shakespeare who I'm currently studying for GCSE English). Your style of writing inspires me and now I've decided to write a proper story (wish me luck!), though I can't help but write in a similar style to yours (hope you don't mind!). A big thank you (for writing 'Ally's World' in the first place) and please write more! :) Tayha :D

'Cause I'm trying to write my own book and I'm totally stuck for an ending. And a good beginning. And a middle. I'm not to sure about a title either. Or what the main character should be like. Or what the story should be about. Actually, I think I won't bother – I'm off to re-read the entire 'Ally's World' series for the zillionth time instead... Anna-L, Durham

Can i just say that the 'Sadie Rocks' series is nuts?!? In a really COOL way, I mean. Where else can you read about a pet Christmas tree? Or a cat called Dog? Or a teenage boy who's a trainee undertaker????? Your mind is mad, Miss McCombie!! Shaz, Deepest Devon

I love your books so much that if I met you in the flesh, I might just faint. So if you ever pass a girl lying unconcious on the street, clutching a copy of 'Seventeen Secrets of the Karma Club' (my personal favourite), then you can be pretty sure it's me! Anya, Manchester

I can't stop stroking the bumpy raspberries on the cover of my copy of 'The Raspberry Rules'. And when I log on to your site, Karen, I love to watch the buttons swirl round and round. I may be going mad, but I'm very, very happy... Ali (not Ally!), Glasgow

Hey Karen! In 'The Raspberry Rules', Rowan finds a site called 'Find-Your-Inner-Fairy.com', which I knew is just something you made up for your book. But then last night I Googled it for a laugh, not expecting to find anything, and... well... I found something! It's a very pretty page, by the way... Nicole xxxxxxxx
