Scotland and superlambananas!!!

OK, the superlambananas thing: if you're from Liverpool, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about! Yep, I spent a couple of days in Liverpool last week and thought it was ACE! Love the accents!! And 'cause it's this year's City of Culture, there were all these amazing statue things everywhere that are part lambs and part, er, bananas (check out www.gosuperlambananas.co.uk). Weird... but good.
And the Scotland thing? Well, I'm off to Edinburgh tomorrow (yay!), and do my book festival talk on Thursday (21st). Then it's off to see the family and friends, plus some time at the beach, which will probably be freezing!!! Hey, who cares....
Big love,
Karen McCombie :c)

Make Friends with our Superlambananas!
One of the most eagerly awaited events of Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture celebrations is now live! 124, two metre tall replicas of Taro Chiezo’s iconic SuperLambBanana sculpture have been painted, decorated and adorned by local artists, schools and community groups, and are on display across the city until 25 August.

If you’ve been inspired by the sculptures, bite-sized Superlambananas are now available to buy online via the Wild in Art Shop. They are available in yellow (like the original) or as a white blank canvas which you can decorate at home. You can also order a copy of the Go Superlambananas Souvenir Guide (available now). The glossy guide includes images of many of the Superlambananas and is a must-have memento

OKAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So trhat was what info i found on the website-sorry i didnt put my name last time its phoebe (patterpaws in username form)!!!!!!!!!
