Wow for World Book Day!

Hope you all had a fun day at school for World Book Day last Thursday! You couldn't move for staff dressed as Where's Wally, The Mad Hatter, Little Red Riding Hood (there were three of them!) and best of all, The Childcatcher from 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' at my daughter's school. Excellent! (Or pretty chilling, in the case of The Childcatcher, who probably traumatised most of the infant kids!)
And it was a busy (but brilliant) day for me – along with a dad at school who runs a book shop, I organised a bit of a mini book festival at school by charming – OK, begging lots of lovely authors and illustrators to come along and make the day even more special.

your school doesn't acknowledge red nose day? Whoa!! You should try & set up like a dance 4 red nose day.. i mean me & my m8s are but they actually acknowledge it at my school.. sry =[

My school takes part in world book day and red nose day. this year the theme for world book day was mexico and everyone got there ponchos and sombreroes on adios amigos x
