How strange! Don't know what the weather's like where you are, but for the last week here in London it has been positively summer-ish, as if the seasons decided to skip Spring, just to confuse everyone!
Our new cat Dizzy (reminds me – must take a photo of her and post it on the site) is currently lounging on the bench in the garden, flicking her paws at passing flies. She is dippy as a fish – her new hobby is eating wasps. Nooooo! I bumped into the vet today (both of us poring over the Magnum ice-creams in the local corner shop) and when I told him about the wasp thing, he just rolled his eyes and said, "She'll learn!!".
OK, must go. Got to finish some stuff I'm doing on a new book, and then go pick Milly and her chums up and take them to ballet. (Or maybe we'll skip ballet and go and eat Magnums in the park instead...)

OMG why is Sadie Rocks stopping already? It's a great series and even if it can't make it to Ally's World proportions, it should at least make it to Stella Etc. size, surely! Fans, join me in a petition to keep Sadie Bird alive!

Thank you! PS Twist in the plot of Smile It's Meant etc made me paranoid on behalf of my cat for a week - I stopped after getting in trouble for giving her a quintuple portion of crunchies!

PS Still no photo of Dizzy! (My cat actually succeded in eating a bee once back when he was Dizzy's age - then again he is huge, mad, strong and thick.) PPS How do you get blue stains off a cat?
