I'm most honoured - 'An Urgent Message Of Wowness' is one of the 12 books that have been chosen for this year's Booked Up initiative. What's that? Well, it's run by the Booktrust here in the UK, which encourages reading. And Booked Up gives a FREE book to every Year 7 student in England. (How generous!!)
So if you're going to be in Year 7 after the summer holidays, look out for the Booked Up magazine that will be given to you by your school, and choose your free book. Excellent!
Oh, and even if you're NOT going to be in Year 7 next year, or AREN'T in England, you can check out the very cute Booked Up website - www.bookedup.org.uk - for info on all the books and authors on their list.
There's also going to be a short DVD to view on there of all of us authors talking about our books - it'll be posted on the Booked Up website soon. (Haven't seen my wee clip yet - but, ooh, was I nervous filming it! Eeek! Hope it's not too cringey!!)

OMG, like, I'm in year 5 too! Who else is? Who else is 9? I am!!! It's so cool to be able to talk to people around my age if you're like 9-10, I mean. x x x

im in year 7 at the moment and myself and a couple of friends are getting an urgent message of wowness and i think the list changes every year but if your in year 5/6 the booked up free books will still be around.
