EEEEK!!! It's NEARLY here!!!!

[<<] delicious. Yay!! And it's all happening at the same time as my new novel – 'The Raspberry Rules' – pings into bookshops. I'm so excited I may have to lie down with a cool flannel on my forehead. Except I can't, because we're off to Scotland tomorrow, and I have to pack my thermal vests and balaclavas (ha!).
By the way, I have had an absolute avalanche of lovely mail from you guys over the holidays. I can't say howdy to everyone (or this blog entry would go on till a week past Tuesday), but I would like to do a quick shout out to the following people... Shynie, Megz, Bea, Taskeen, Beth D. (I send hugs), and Anna D. (yep, Anna, Alexandra Palace is a real place, and I'll ping a photo of it on the website next week when I get back!!).
Big love for now,
Karen McCombie :c)

Cool! I've only ever been to Scotland once, but I loved it and it gave me heaps of inspiration for stories! I'd love to be an author like you when I'm older. Have any of you're books been inspired by adventures in Scotland?
